Dr. Nicole Deschamps is a 2011 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon. She also obtained a Bachelor degree in Vision Science prior to finishing optometry school. Since graduation Dr. Deschamps has been working at a private optometry practice in Taber, Alberta.
Living and working in rural communities has always been priority for Dr. Deschamps. She selected rural clinical rotations in North and South Dakota during her training, and then went on to own a private practice in Taber.
Through these experiences she has gained valuable knowledge in primary care optometry for patients of all ages, contact lens fitting, ocular disease management, and treating ocular emergencies.
Dr. Deschamps is married, and enjoys spending time with their two Vizslas. When not working, Dr. Deschamps can be found riding and showing reining horses, or at the curling rink.
