Dr. Courtney Wilcox was born and raised in Okotoks, Alberta. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Calgary, she continued on to complete her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo. During her time in optometry school, she completed externships throughout Alberta, including one here at Health First Optometry. She has also travelled abroad with Canadian Vision Care, taking part in an eyecare service trip to Manila, Philippines.
Dr. Wilcox has experience in clinics that focus on ocular disease, pediatrics, and contact lenses, as well as experience in both rural and urban settings. She has a special interest in managing dry eye, as well as providing thorough full-scope patient care for the entire family.
When she isn’t at the clinic, Dr. Wilcox enjoys practicing yoga, camping, playing the piano, and spending time with friends and family. She has travelled throughout Australia & Asia and is always eager to plan her next trip.
